Selling Your Art
From time to time an institution, family or individual may wish to part with a piece of art or perhaps even an entire collection. Estilo Mora is able to assist in the marketing of your artwork. There are typically two ways a client may divest:
Consign
The client maintains ownership of the piece while allowing us to market it. Both the client and Estilo Mora agree to a price range; any potential deviation from that range is discussed with the client. After the successful sale of the artwork, the client is paid the sales price less commission and expenses (if any).
Straight Sale
The client elects to sell the artwork directly to Estilo Mora for an agreed upon price. A purchase agreement is signed by the client indicating the legal right to sell the item and funds are paid to the client from Estilo Mora.
Purchasing Art
We understand clients have preferred ways of acquiring pieces for their collections and some clients may just be starting to collect. Estilo Mora offers a hand selected inventory of quality 18th, 19th, and early 20th century fine art and artifacts. However, if clients are looking for something other than what is available, we are happy to source pieces for our clients to view as possibilities. Research And Consulting
The needs of the client can be as simple as finding a conservator for oil paintings or works on paper, or as complicated as traveling to examine and procure artwork for a private client. Ms. Gavallos has also spent time conducting research with a renowned art historian in Spain.
